Have you ever heard a rattle coming from the intake of your engine? Most likely the cause is due to the Intake Manifold Runner Valve, (also known as the DISA Valve).   This valve’s purpose is to control airflow in the intake manifold, to maximize efficiency and power at varying throttle loads.

This unit however can fail prematurely and can potentially cause catastrophic engine damage if it breaks apart inside. If you hear a rattle when you start up the car, or while idling/driving – it may be this unit on it’s way out! Contact Bimmersport Automotive today if you have been experiencing these symptoms, it may save you a costly repair.
